I bought a house that has 3 rti remotes with it, where can I get the software to program them besides a dealer? I talked with 2 local dealers and they wouldn't do anything for me without buying new hardware. Basically they acted like it wasn't worth their time.
Any ideas?
Thanks

The software is dealer only. No dealer will give you the software, if they do and RTI found out, that dealer would lose the line.

Seems odd they wouldnt want to do any programming for you.
What remotes do yo have?? do you have a processor as well??
what work do you need done?? Where are you located??

Ignore what the other guy says, you can obtain the software through a rep or such most of the time if you meet the right person. A dealer won't, but there are other methods. One thing is since you have a local dealer and I do NOT have anyone within 3-4 hours away, most likely you will need to get one of them. Also, I would be shocked they would not offer their service since you are in their area as that is turning down money. If the remotes are really old though, they may no longer be of good use. However, most are still supported so I can't see that being a problem.
The other issue, you really do need to know some computer programming or be very good at things like that yourself. For me, I have a background in Computer Science so things like this I can do in my sleep (programming remote, macros, etc.)
